It’s difficult to admit when you’re not happy with life. It’s even harder to figure out how to change that. With a postgraduate degree in Neuroscience and a comfortable job under her belt, EB (pronounced Eebee) had to make this admission to herself in 2019.

Her debut EP ‘Rodeo Queen’ was written and produced in a wardrobe after trading her desk job for a summer in California. It’s a time-capsule project that deals with the frustration a lot of people feel when trying to balance their dreams with paying the bills, as well as a love of seltzer-based beverages. EB’s music has since been featured on the likes of The Rodeo Magazine, Nightshift Magazine, BBC 6 Music, and NPR All Songs Considered. She has played numerous venues around the UK including Ritual Union Festival Oxford, and Lion Coffee Records in Clapton.

2021 will see the release of her newest project, which swerves into the more haunting and dreamy aspects of EB’s production style. Based around an abstract narrative of a doll-like demon navigating human nature for the first time by order of “the moths”, it serves to allow the listener to get truly lost in a world built just for them. Taking influence from artists such as FKA Twigs, Beach House, and La Dispute, it is set to be a truly exciting artistic endeavour. We look forward to welcoming you. (She also has a job she really likes these days, the balance can be found).
